Primate Text

Within the ACRCTT, there is an outstanding amount of biodiversity, but the variety in the primates here is one of the central focuses of many guests. There are more species of primates here than have been recorded in any other protected park or reserve in the world. In addition to our usual conservation efforts, we have compiled a comprehensive list of the species of primates in the region here, and support the research efforts of biologist Janice Chism regarding a possibly undescribed species of saki monkeys. Our Statement on Covid-19

During the pandemic, we faced a 13 month absence of tourists. But instead of laying off our workers, we used this as an opportunity to focus on improving our business. We kept our entire team employed, with additional training, new projects, as well as in conservation & humanitarian work. As a result, now that tourism is back…. we are a stronger company than ever. Our facilities are in the best condition, our staff is the best trained and our guides the most knowledgeable that can be found in the Amazon Rainforest.
