Join Dolly Beaver on an eight-day expedition into Brazil’s Pantanal, the world’s largest tropical wetland and one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth. You’ll travel deep into jaguar territory by boat and jeep in search of the Americas’ most powerful cat, alongside giant anteaters, caimans, giant otters, and extraordinary birdlife. Day 1 - Arrival to CUIABÁ, BRAZIL

Arrive to Cuiaba, Brazil anytime this day. Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel in Cuiabá – check in time is in the afternoon.
Day 2 - CUIABÁ to PANTANAL
Day 2 – CUIABÁ to PANTANAL
After breakfast, departure from the hotel in Cuiabá to the Pantanal, arrival to a hotel, at the km 65 – halfway of the total of the Transpantaneira park-road length. Lunch. In the afternoon a boat ride along the small Pixaim river, in order to familiarize our eyes to see the first birds, mammals and reptiles.

Day 3 - PANTANAL - Porto Jofre – Jaguar Search
Day 3 – PANTANAL – Porto Jofre – Jaguar Search
Breakfast & transfer down the Transpantaneira (searching for wildlife along the way) until its end on the Cuiabá river banks, in Porto Jofre, with arrival for lunch. In the afternoon, we have our first experience seeking Jaguars on a fast speed boat ride. Dinner and overnight.

The whole day (since very early) is devoted to observe Jaguars by boat.

Day 5 - PANTANAL

After breakfast, we depart from Porto Jofre all the way up to the Piuval lodge, located at a very diversified environment. After many stops to observe rich variety of wildlife and lunch in the middle of the way, arrival to the lodge right on time to do the check-in and, few minutes later, do a nice jeep and night safaris through the fields.

In the early morning, we do an Overland safari through the Termites mound-hills, trying to see the Giant Anteater. Breakfast and, in the morning, we visit a remote stream with a large concentration of birds, many caimans and some otters. In the afternoon, we do an overland safari through the fields and forests, on the Jaguar territory, with large possibility of seeing the Americas’ third largest cat.

In the early morning, we do an Overland safari through the Termites mound-hills, trying to see the Giant Anteater. After breakfast, we leave the Pantanal to Cuiabá, with drop-off at the convenient time. (optional) Continue on to Iguazu Extension.
