This journey is designed as a progressive wildlife expedition through Central India, carefully curated for a small group to explore some of the country’s most renowned tiger reserves. Traveling across a range of distinct ecosystems each park has been thoughtfully positioned to offer a different perspective of the wilderness ranging from classic tiger tracking and forest ecology to community interactions and deeper insights into wildlife behavior. In addition to jeep safaris, the program incorporates guided nature walks, village visits, and interpretive sessions with naturalists, creating a well-balanced and immersive exploration while maintaining a comfortable and well-paced travel flow.

Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel (Please note that standard check-in time is from 2:00pm). The remainder of the day is at leisure to rest after your international journey or to explore the surroundings independently. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 2 - Delhi to Jabalpur to Bandhavgarh National Park
Day 2 – Delhi to Jabalpur to Bandhavgarh National Park
Early morning transfer to the airport for flight to Jabalpur in Central India (1.5-hour flight). Upon arrival at Jabalpur airport, proceed by road to Bandhavgarh National Park. The scenic drive takes you through the heart of rural Madhya Pradesh. The final stretch towards Bandhavgarh begins to feel more remote and wilderness-oriented, setting the tone for the safari experience ahead. Bandhavgarh is one of India’s premier tiger reserves, renowned for its high density of Royal Bengal Tigers and its striking landscape of forested hills, open meadows, and ancient ruins, including the historic Bandhavgarh Fort. The park’s varied terrain creates excellent conditions for wildlife sightings, and apart from tigers, it is also home to leopard, sloth bear, wild boar, and several species of deer such as chital and sambar, along with rich birdlife. On arrival, check in at your lodge. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to relax and settle into the jungle surroundings.

Day 3 - Explore Bandhavgarh National Park – Jeep Safari

Early this morning, set out for your first jeep safari into Bandhavgarh National Park, accompanied by experienced naturalists. The early hours are among the best times to explore the forest, as wildlife is most active and the soft morning light enhances the overall experience. You may encounter a variety of wildlife, including tiger, leopard, deer, and numerous bird species as the forest comes alive at dawn. Return to the lodge for some time at leisure. In the afternoon, proceed for another jeep safari into the park, exploring a different zone or track, further increasing your chances of wildlife sightings while experiencing the diversity of the landscape.

Day 4 - Bandhavgarh to Kanha National Park
Day 4 – Bandhavgarh to Kanha National Park
Early breakfast & depart by road for Kanha National Park. This scenic drive takes you through rural Madhya Pradesh, passing small villages and agricultural fields, gradually transitioning into the sal-dominated forests of the Maikal Hills. Kanha National Park is celebrated for its expansive open meadows (maidans), dense sal forests, and rich biodiversity. It is also the last major refuge of the hard ground barasingha (swamp deer), representing one of India’s most successful conservation stories. Arrive at your lodge by early to mid-afternoon and check in. In the late afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk (approx. 2–2.5 hours) in the buffer zone, accompanied by the lodge naturalist. These walks offer an immersive, on-foot experience of the forest, with excellent opportunities for birdwatching, observing butterflies and plant life, and learning about animal tracking techniques such as identifying pugmarks, alarm calls, and movement patterns.

Early this morning, proceed for a jeep safari into Kanha National Park, accompanied by an experienced naturalist. The park’s diverse landscape of open meadows, bamboo thickets, and sal forests offers excellent opportunities to spot tiger, leopard, dhole (wild dog), sloth bear, gaur (Indian bison), and the iconic barasingha (swamp deer) grazing in the grasslands. The morning hours are particularly rewarding, as wildlife activity is at its peak and the forest is at its most vibrant. Return to the lodge for some time at leisure. In the afternoon, proceed for another jeep safari into the park, exploring a different zone or track, further enhancing your chances of wildlife sightings while experiencing the diversity of the landscape.

Day 6 - Kanha to Pench National Park

Early breakfast & proceed for a guided village visit (approx. 2 hours), offering an opportunity to interact with local communities and gain insights into rural life and traditions in Central India. En route, you may also enjoy short walks, observe birdlife and learn about the surrounding landscape. Return to the lodge, after which depart by road to Pench National Park. Pench National Park, straddling the border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, is known for its scenic beauty and diverse wildlife. The park’s landscape of teak forests and open grassland provides excellent visibility, enhancing the overall safari experience. On arrival, check in at your lodge and take some time to relax. In the evening, enjoy an informal wildlife presentation or film screening conducted by the lodge naturalist, offering insights into the ecology, wildlife behaviour, and conservation efforts in Pench.

Day 7 - Explore Pench National Park – Jeep Safari

Early this morning, proceed for a jeep safari into Pench National Park, accompanied by experienced naturalists. The park’s open woodland and teak forests offer excellent visibility, making it one of the more rewarding parks for wildlife tracking. Pench is home to a healthy population of tiger, as well as leopard, wild dog (dhole), jackal, and a variety of deer species. The morning hours provide excellent opportunities to observe wildlife activity, along with rich birdlife for those interested in birdwatching and photography. Return to the lodge for some time at leisure. In the afternoon, set out for another jeep safari, exploring a different zone of the park. Each safari presents a unique experience, with changing light conditions and wildlife movement patterns.

Day 8 - Pench to Tadoba National Park
Day 8 – Pench to Tadoba National Park
This morning, enjoy a guided nature trail (approx. 1.5–2 hours) in the buffer areas outside the park, accompanied by an experienced naturalist. These walks offer an intimate, on-foot perspective of the forest, with opportunities to observe birdlife, insects, and smaller wildlife, while also learning about tracking techniques, plant species, and animal behaviour. The trail typically covers 3–4 km at a relaxed pace, providing a deeper understanding of the ecosystem that complements the safari experience. Return to the lodge for breakfast, after which depart by road for Tadoba National Park. The drive today is relatively shorter and comfortable, passing through a mix of rural landscapes, small towns, and forested stretches as you cross into Maharashtra. Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve is one of India’s most exciting parks for wildlife viewing, particularly known for its strong tiger sightings. Arrive and check in at your lodge.

Early this morning, proceed for a jeep safari into Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, accompanied by experienced naturalists. The park’s relatively open terrain, interspersed with bamboo thickets and water bodies, offers excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings, often around lakes and watering holes. The morning hours are particularly rewarding, as animals gather around water sources and the forest is at its most active. Return to the lodge for some time at leisure. In the afternoon, set out for another jeep safari, exploring a different zone of the park, further enhancing your chances of wildlife encounters while experiencing the diversity of the landscape.

Day 10 - Tadoba – Nagpur) – Delhi (Flight)
Day 10 – Explore Tadoba National Park – Jeep Safaris
This morning, enjoy a guided Nature Walk with Naturalist – within the lodge surroundings and nearby forest trails. Accompanied by the resident/expert naturalist, this relaxed walk offers an excellent opportunity to observe birdlife, butterflies, smaller mammals, and the intricate ecology of Tadoba’s dry deciduous forest — details often missed during vehicle safaris. Today enjoy an early lunch at the resort, after which depart by road for Nagpur airport. The drive is relatively short and comfortable, passing through rural landscapes and small towns as you make your way towards Nagpur. Upon arrival at the airport, you will board your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Day 11 - Delhi Departure
