After weathering the pandemic and starting to recover in earnest as travel reopened around the world, Peruvian Ecotourism is now faced with a new challenge of political unrest - although the actual protests come nowhere near the jungle. Over the month of February, travelers have continued to make the trek out to our lodge and have seen no signs of the unrest that is making its way across international news channels. Unless you are seeking out these protests in particular the chances of coming face to face with one are remarkably small.
