Trip Highlights
Our Kenya Expedition will include an opportunity to see:
- Elephants walking in front of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the famed Amboseli reserve
- The migratory herd crossing the Mara River
- The huge flock of flamingos in Lake Nakuru
Accommodations
During your trip, you will experience many locations in the region. Amazonia aims to provide you with the best experience. Please note that locations are subject to change with equivalent accommodations based on availability.
Full Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive at Nairobi
Arrive into Naiorbi’s Jomo Kenyatta International airport (flight booked by Agent), Swissport meet and greet assistance through customs/immigration formalities, baggage claim. Escorted through the exit doors where clients will be met by Pollmans and transferred to the Nairobi Serena Hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. (Check in time is 1400hrs approx. and will be adhered to. Clients arriving in the middle of the night must book a pre-night as they will not be permitted to wait in the hotel lobby for check-in at 1400hrs.)
Day 2 – From Nairobi to Amboseli
After breakfast drive to Amboseli reaching the lodge in time for lunch. After some rest, in the afternoon depart on your first game-drive in Amboseli National Park returning to the Lodge as the sun sets for dinner

Day 3 - Amboseli National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli, returning to the lodge as the sun sets.

Day 4 – Amboseli to Nakuru
Following an early breakfast, leaving Amboseli behind, proceed to Nairobi for an early lunch (or picnic lunch dependent on road conditions). Continue to Lake Nakuru with a game drive enroute until you arrive at the Lodge for dinner
Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge on a full board basis
Day 5 - Nakuru to the Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you travel by road to Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at the Lodge in time for lunch. Following time at leisure, you have an afternoon game drive returning to the camp for dinner

Day 6 – Masai Mara National Reserve
Following an early breakfast, depart on a morning game drive, returning to the camp mid-morning. After lunch, and perhaps a siesta, set off on another game drive and visit to the Masai Village, returning to the lodge as the sunsets.

Day 7 - Game drives at Masai Mara
Spend another day in Mara on scheduled morning and afternoon game drives or a full day game drive with a packed lunch

Day 8 - Masai Mara to Nairobi
Depart Mara arriving in Kenya’s bustling capital city of Nairobi by mid-day. Once in the city, clients will be dropped off at Four Points Sheraton Nairobi Airport hotel for lunch (included in the quote) and Day room use in a Traditional room until 18:00hrs
Followed by a complimentary hotel shuttle bus transfer to Nairobi airport for onward flight connection (flight booked by Agent). End of our services
EXTENSION Day 8 - Nairobi to Tsavo
Transfer by Serena Lodge vehicle to Mara airstrip with a packed lunch box for Safari Link scheduled flight to Nairobi departing at 11:00hr arrival at 12:20hr (flight booked by Pollmans). Late connect Safari Link scheduled flight to Tsavo departing at 14:00hr arrival at 14:55hr (flight booked by Pollmans). On arrival met by Lodge vehicle and transferred to Kilaguni Serena Lodge. Check in freshen up. In the afternoon depart on a scheduled game drive in Lodge vehicle on shared basis returning to the Lodge as the sun sets for dinner

EXTENSION Day 9 - Kilaguni Game Drives
Participate in morning and afternoon game drives

EXTENSION Day 11 – Return to Nairobi + Departure
Transfer by Lodge vehicle to Tsavo airstrip for Safari Link scheduled flight to Nairobi departing at 08:30hr arrival at 09:30hr (flight booked by Pollmans). On arrival met and transferred to Four Points Sheraton Nairobi Airport Hotel for Day room use in Traditional rooms (lunch and Day room cost is included in the Main Safari quote).
Followed by a complimentary hotel shuttle bus transfer to Nairobi airport for onward flight connection (We will book flights, cost not included).

This Trip Includes:
- Meet and greet services
- Airport Transfers in safari bus or coach depending on final numbers on Private basis
- All transport and game drives on safari sector will be in a 4×4 vehicle with pop-up roof (maximum 6 passengers) with an English/Bi-lingual speaking driver-guide on Private basis
- Guaranteed window seat
- Meals and accommodation as specified
- All park fees and government taxes
- Filtered water will be provided in our safari vehicles. Travelers must bring their own reusable water bottle that can be refilled in the vehicle during the safari
This Extension Includes:

- Airstrip transfers and game drives on fly-in safari will be provided in Lodge vehicle on shared basis

This Trip DOES NOT Include:
- Travel Visa
- All International/National Airfare,
- Costs for excess baggage
- Any airport taxes
- Items of personal nature such as bar bills, alcoholic beverages, laundry, telephone calls, extra mileage, personal gratuities as tips to guide, porters, drivers, etc.
- Any new tax imposed by the government
- Expenses incurred by re-routing, inclement weather, floods, famine, political disruptions, strikes, riots, and other disturbances
- Personal travel, baggage, or medical insurance
