School Groups

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Amazonia Expeditions has a great reputation for working with school groups, from middle school, through high school as well as university groups. We can customize an itinerary to concentrate on environmental education, short-term hands on field research projects, community service projects or just recreational excursions in the rainforest. Safety is always emphasized. Along with being in a zone free of malaria, zika, dengue and yellow fever (ask us why), we travel in boats with life preservers, have a staff trained in first aid and have the highest sanitary standards in food preparation. Contact us for a list of references of schools that have brought groups. School groups qualify for a discounted cost and free teacher escorts depending on group size. Our Statement on Covid-19

During the pandemic, we faced a 13 month absence of tourists. But instead of laying off our workers, we used this as an opportunity to focus on improving our business. We kept our entire team employed, with additional training, new projects, as well as in conservation & humanitarian work. As a result, now that tourism is back…. we are a stronger company than ever. Our facilities are in the best condition, our staff is the best trained and our guides the most knowledgeable that can be found in the Amazon Rainforest.
